Title: Delightful and Relaxing. Shared lounge for sharing awkward elevator rides with strangers, garden for pretending I know anything about plants, and a 24-hour front desk for when I randomly decide to ask ridiculous questions at 3 am. Breakfast options were great!
Hilarious that they call themselves a 5-star hotel, more like a 2-star backpacker's hostel. My room had a lovely view of a construction site.

The staff at Forest And Lake By Schofieldshire were pretty good too make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly and accommodating, and even took the time to personally deliver my lost jacket to me in Colombo. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cozy, with a lovely smell of cloves in the air. The food was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan curry. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

The room was so cozy with a comfy seating area and a big flat-screen TV. I loved having a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a refreshing shower. The balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy the stunning views and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. The executive lounge access was a nice bonus, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a quiet and restful night's sleep. The elegant furnishings added a touch of sophistication and made us feel right at home. The handy amenities provided in the guestroom were a thoughtful touch. I really enjoyed having a patio in some of the units, a great place to relax and take in the surroundings. The quadruple room even had a tumble dryer, making laundry a breeze.
Personally, I found the sofa in one of the twin/double rooms a bit uncomfortable for lounging.

I absolutely adored the quaint decor of the hotel, it reminded me of my childhood home. The cozy corners and comfortable seating areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like me, with no steep stairs or long hallways to navigate.
I would have loved to see more activities or facilities specifically catered towards senior guests.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of The Forest and Lake hotel. Every corner had such lovely details that made me feel like I was in a cozy countryside cottage. The general areas were also very well maintained, with beautiful flowers and comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were well-paved and easy to navigate, making it a breeze for me to explore the property.
I would have loved to see more activities or amenities specifically catered towards senior guests. While the staff at The Forest and Lake hotel were friendly and helpful, I think having specific services or facilities tailored to the needs of older individuals would have made for an even better vacation experience for seniors like myself.

The rooms were comfortable and had a pleasant aroma of cloves. the staff provided excellent service and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. I particularly appreciated their prompt response in couriering my lost jacket to me without any additional charges. the food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes to choose from.
That the property was difficult to locate at night, especially with the foggy weather. It would be helpful if there were better signage or lighting to make it easier to find.

We had a fantastic stay at Forest And Lake By Schofieldshire. the property is located a bit further from the center, but the beautiful views around make it worth it. the interior decor is super cute, and we loved the cozy lounge area with a fireplace where the staff set up our dinner. the bedroom windows provided amazing views, and the room itself was very clean. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even organizing breakfast for us on the porch. it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back. Cons: Nothing all good. 😊.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with amazing views of the hillside and a serene atmosphere. The room had massive windows that maximized the view and was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and always helpful, catering to our dining requirements. There was a lounge area for relaxation, a nice little garden with an outside dining area, and the hotel offered a good selection of food, including an excellent Indian meal.
The location of the hotel was a bit remote and difficult to get to, requiring cautious driving on a narrow, poorly formed road.
